Developing Dermatology and Allergology at KSW Together
We are looking for a Senior Physician Dermatology and Venereology FMH with an interest or proven expertise in Allergology and Clinical Immunology.
The Dermatology and Allergology department at the Cantonal Hospital Winterthur (KSW) is the regional competence centre for the diagnosis and treatment of the entire spectrum of dermatological diseases as well as allergological issues. We care for outpatients and inpatients at a high professional level and work closely with numerous medical disciplines within a modern centre hospital.
As an FMH training centre for Dermatology and Venereology (Category C), we combine excellent patient care with committed education, training and continuing professional development.
As part of the strategic development of our department, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual who enjoys actively shaping the future of Dermatology and Allergology at KSW and contributing their own professional focus areas.

Your Responsibilities
- Independent management of a varied dermatological outpatient clinic covering the entire spectrum of General Dermatology
- Diagnosis and treatment of allergological issues according to your own qualifications and interests
- Conducting inpatient dermatological consultations at KSW and in our partner institutions
- Active participation in shaping and further developing the dermatological and allergological service offerings
- Representation of Dermatology in interdisciplinary clinics and boards (e.g. Vascular Centre, Plastic Surgery, Vasculitis Board)
- Development and expansion of your own professional focus areas
- Professional and personnel leadership within the team
- Education and training of assistant physicians as well as promotion of dermatological junior staff
- Commitment to teaching, continuing education, quality assurance and network maintenance
Your Profile
- Specialist title in Dermatology and Venereology FMH or equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland (MEBEKO)
- Several years of clinical experience, ideally in a senior or leadership role
- Broad clinical expertise in General Dermatology
- Proven expertise or special interest in Allergology and Clinical Immunology is welcome but not mandatory
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and further development of the department
- High patient orientation, strong communication skills and team spirit
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- Desire to build things, set standards and help shape a profile
