Sharepoint Platform Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
As an application and system specialist, you ensure that applications and systems run stably, securely, and efficiently. In this role, you analyse technical requirements, coordinate adjustments, and ensure that interfaces and processes function smoothly. You take responsibility for monitoring, fault analysis, and sustainable resolution of disruptions. Furthermore, you contribute to optimisations and further development of the existing system landscape and ensure proper documentation. Through your structured approach, you significantly contribute to keeping the IT environment reliable and future-proof.
Responsibilities:
- You manage the core application for school administration, develop it further, and provide support in case of problems
- In this role, you manage access permissions and user accounts in the core application
- As an application and system specialist, you design database queries and reports in the core application
- You maintain and develop the Microsoft 365 platform as well as SharePoint applications and the SharePoint-based search function
- In this role, you capture business processes and map them in the relevant application systems and LMS systems such as Moodle
- As an application and system specialist, you work closely with the IT department and the superusers of the specialist departments and support, advise, and instruct internal customers
Qualifications:
- You have a higher IT education at the level of a professional certificate, advanced technical college, FA with federal diploma, or a comparable qualification.
- You have many years of experience with SQL, VBS or similar technologies, Crystal Reports, as well as interface design and automation.
- You possess very good knowledge of cloud computing and MS network domain architecture.
- You bring solid and practical experience with Microsoft Cloud Services such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Power Platform.
- You work analytically, structured, independently, and solution-oriented and can communicate and document complex technical topics clearly.
- You communicate strongly in German and English, both spoken and written, and explain complex matters understandably to non-IT professionals and customers.
