About the job

Within the gardens of the La Branche association, we cultivate open-field vegetables as well as vegetables under greenhouses and cold tunnels. We work according to Organic and Biodynamic standards, with certification. We produce most of our seedlings from February onwards in a heated tunnel set up for this purpose. We also contribute to the cultivation of flowers and aromatic herbs intended for the making of herbal teas and aromatic herbs, in collaboration with the herbal tea workshop.

We ensure to provide the households of our association, hosting around 150 beneficiaries, with vegetables meeting the highest quality standards. We work within a team made up of market gardeners with a Federal VET Diploma who also act as socio-professional mentors to supervise and support people with disabilities working in the garden.

Mission:

• As a team, participate in the various farm activities with the beneficiaries (people with disabilities).
• Participation in the various weekly organisational meetings.

We are looking for:

• An interest in organic cultivation and biodynamic principles.
• An interest in working with people with disabilities.
• A curious, motivated, autonomous person with a good capacity for initiative.
• A person who enjoys teamwork and has good autonomy.
• A patient and empathetic person, with good interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to the schedule and activities.
• A commitment of at least two years.
