Role:
Responsible project management function for demanding new construction, expansion, and maintenance projects in road and civil engineering. The position includes comprehensive support of construction projects from tendering to realisation, coordination between planning and execution, as well as technical leadership of the involved site management teams. A varied role with high personal responsibility and exciting infrastructure projects in a versatile environment.
Responsibilities:
Technical responsibility for assigned new construction, expansion, and maintenance projects in road and civil engineering
Independent management of demanding projects from tendering to successful completion
Ensuring technical, timely, and cost-compliant project execution as well as adherence to quality standards
Assuming section site management and coordination of construction execution on assigned projects
Coordination between design, site management, contractors and other project participants
Technical leadership and support of local site management teams
Participation in the development and assurance of internal quality management
Monitoring and controlling project progress, costs, and execution quality
Qualifications:
Completed education as civil engineer FH/ETH, federally certified master builder or a comparable qualification in construction
Several years of professional experience in execution and project management of road and civil engineering projects
Experience in coordination and leadership of site management as well as collaboration with various project stakeholders
Good knowledge of cost estimation software and MS Office applications
Very good German skills spoken and written, Italian and/or Romansh skills are an advantage
