Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Construction Manager Rail Technology for an established company in the rail infrastructure and transport sector. The company realises demanding projects in the fields of rail, signalling and rail technology and impresses with high technical competence, modern solutions and a strong position in the Swiss infrastructure sector.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and coordination of projects in the field of rail technology
Responsibility for costs, deadlines and quality of construction execution
Planning and organisation of construction processes taking into account rail operations and safety regulations
Coordination of contractors, suppliers and internal project teams
Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations (e.g. safety in the track area)
Leading construction meetings with clients, authorities and specialist planners
Preparation of measurements, reports and claims management
Support during commissioning and acceptance of systems
Ensuring documentation and project reporting
Qualifications:
Training in a technical or construction-related field (e.g. certified electrician, automation technician, draughtsperson or civil engineering)
Further training as construction manager, technician HF or engineer FH is an advantage
Several years of experience in construction management, ideally in the rail sector or infrastructure
Knowledge of standards and regulations in the rail environment (e.g. SBB, safety guidelines)
Very good German skills and driving licence category B
