The University Eye Clinic is a reference centre for diagnostics, conservative therapy and microsurgery of eye diseases. Our outpatient clinic is one of the largest eye outpatient clinics in Switzerland with over 50,000 patient consultations annually. We offer the full spectrum of eye diagnostics in four diagnostic laboratories (cornea, photography, perimetry, electrophysiology) and an experienced optics team that manages senior physician consultations, fits contact lenses and supports emergency triage.

What to expect

• Part of the 16-member diagnostic team
• After training, independent diagnostic eye examinations in the areas of refraction, photography, OCT, corneal diagnostics, perimetry, senior physician consultation management, contact lens fitting and emergency triage
• Collaboration in an interdisciplinary environment (diagnostics, physicians, nursing, administration) for comprehensive patient care

What you bring

• Completed training/continuing education as an optometrist, certified optician or optician
• High networking competence, enjoyment of patient contact and teamwork
• Very good PC skills (MS Office)
• Independent, flexible, resilient and reliable personality
• Proactive, thoughtful and entrepreneurial work attitude
• Very good German skills; good French and English skills are a plus
