Head of Health, Safety and Environmental Management (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, as Head of Health, Safety and Environmental Management, you actively shape the HSE strategy across multiple sites. You contribute your expertise to continuously improve and sustainably anchor health, safety, and environmental standards. You work closely with various specialist departments, managers, and global HSE teams. You ensure that the highest safety and environmental standards are maintained and further developed. Through your commitment, you make a significant contribution to a safe and responsible working environment.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for occupational safety, health protection, as well as environmental and fire protection at the site
- In this role, you conduct risk analyses, safety inspections, audits, and inspections to improve safety standards
- As Head of Health, Safety and Environmental Management, you develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, processes, and preventive measures
- You analyse accidents and near misses and derive sustainable improvement measures from them
- In this role, you plan and organise training and awareness-raising measures for employees and managers
- As Head of Health, Safety and Environmental Management, you advise management and specialist departments on all matters relating to safety, health, and the environment
Qualifications:
- You have a technical basic education with further training in occupational safety, health protection, or environmental management
- You have several years of experience in an HSE, EHS, or safety function, ideally in an industrial environment
- You are well acquainted with the legal requirements in occupational safety, health, environmental, and fire protection
- You conduct audits, risk analyses, and training sessions routinely
- You communicate convincingly, act on your own initiative, and assert yourself with determination
- You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, take responsibility, and are proficient in MS Office as well as HSE reporting tools
