You have solid experience in managing steel projects in Switzerland and want to lead large-scale projects in the canton of Geneva? Our client, a major player in steel construction known for its expertise and quality of work, is looking for its future Senior Project Manager.
Your daily tasks
Overall project management: Take charge of projects from A to Z, from the transfer of the commercial file to the final acceptance of the works.
Technical and financial monitoring: Ensure compliance with the specifications, deadlines, quality, and profitability of the projects.
On-site coordination: Be the primary contact for architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
Management and workshop: Work closely with the design office and the manufacturing/assembly teams to optimise installation methods.
Negotiation and safety: Manage subcontractor tenders, financial amendments, and ensure strict compliance with safety standards on site.
Qualifications
Your profile
Education: HES Engineer degree in civil engineering/construction, ET Technician, or federal diploma in metal/steel construction.
Experience: At least 5 to 8 years of successful experience as a Project Manager in steel construction, necessarily in Switzerland (knowledge of the Geneva market is a real plus).
Technical skills: Excellent knowledge of SIA standards, steel frameworks, façades, locksmithing, and glazing.
Personal qualities: Natural leader, excellent communicator, autonomous, and outstanding negotiator.
Languages & Tools: Proficiency in French (spoken and written). Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Tekla) and site management tools is an asset.
