Professional Specialist (m/f/d) Sea Freight Export

Responsibilities

• Order acceptance, verification of details and handling of sea freight transports from A to Z including customs-related clarifications
• Preparation of transport documents
• Issuing and receiving orders to/from partners
• Obtaining freight rates and comparing them
• Invoice control and billing
• Handling complaints
• Active professional support of the sales team
• Preparation and follow-up of quotations
• Customer care

Qualifications

• Commercial basic training specialising in international freight forwarding logistics with above-average results
• Two to three years of professional experience in sea freight
• Negotiation skills with a sales talent towards customers and partners
• Good command of English, spoken and written; knowledge of French is an advantage
• Flexibility, motivation and ability to work in a team
• Process- and solution-oriented thinking with an eye for the overall context
• Enjoy working in an intercultural environment
• Knowledge of dangerous goods in sea freight is an advantage
