Attached to the Vaud Judicial Order, the four district courts of the canton rule in first instance in numerous cases relating to criminal and civil law in the broad sense. Each includes several chambers (criminal, family, pecuniary, etc.).
The District Court of Eastern Vaud, which employs nearly 50 magistrates and collaborators, is looking for a Judicial Accountant
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accounting and financial management of the court.
- Guarantee the proper management of the cash register and postal checking account: entry of transactions and control of movements.
- Check and pay all court invoices.
- Take responsibility for the regular control of the safe's contents.
- Collaborate in the analysis and closing of accounts as well as in budget preparation.
- Ensure archiving and accounting closure of costly files.
- Prepare expense statements for auxiliary staff (assessor judges, ad hoc clerks, etc.) and transmit payroll data.
- Collaborate with all functions operating within the court, as well as with external partners.
- Form a duo with the court's assistant accountant and work closely with management.

Qualifications
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification, complemented by several years of professional experience in accounting
- Experience within a judicial authority or the judicial world would be an asset
- Interest in the judicial field
- Perfect command of common IT tools, including Excel
- Discretion, precision, rigour and autonomy.
- Mastery of the SAP programme.
As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to present an extract from the debt collection register and a criminal record less than 3 months old.
