In this role, you take on the strategic and operational overall responsibility for demanding real estate projects from the owner’s perspective. You manage complex new build and refurbishment projects from development to realisation, coordinate interdisciplinary partners and ensure an economical, sustainable and high-quality implementation. With your entrepreneurial thinking, you develop future-proof solutions, bring together different interests and actively shape the further development of the real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Assuming overall project responsibility for demanding new build and refurbishment projects on the owner’s side
Managing and leading complex construction projects considering quality, costs, deadlines and strategic objectives
Supporting site and project developments including usage, operation, marketing and sustainability
Leading and coordinating external planners, contractors and specialists
Ensuring the implementation of economic and strategic requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders from asset management, property management, development and marketing
Preparing and managing tenders for general contractor, specialised contractor and total service mandates as well as direct planning and construction services
Drafting and reviewing planner and work contracts
Evaluating and validating construction cost calculations from external partners and service providers
Supporting or leading demanding negotiations, decision-making processes and credit applications
Technical and economic support of acquisitions including due diligence checks and profitability analyses
Further development of overarching topics such as construction cost management, benchmarking, LEAN construction, BIM and ESG
Optimising processes and developing new standards for efficient project execution
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience in a comparable role in project development, client representation or real estate management
Completed studies in architecture, civil engineering or a comparable technical education
Ideally complemented by further training in real estate management (e.g. CUREM)
Solid experience in the realisation of residential projects as well as ideally industrial and commercial buildings across all project phases
Strong entrepreneurial thinking and ability to drive projects independently
Confident appearance and experience in leading and coordinating diverse stakeholder groups
Structured, analytical and at the same time pragmatic solution orientation
Ability to reconcile complex interests and make sustainable decisions
Experience with modern planning and construction processes, ideally knowledge of LEAN construction and BIM
High initiative, decisiveness and willingness to take responsibility
Agile thinking and flexibility in a dynamic project environment
Very good communication skills in German and French, English skills are an advantage
