Experienced Carpenter / Cabinetmaker (M/F)

For well-known partner companies in the canton of Fribourg recognised for the quality of their work and expertise, we are looking for experienced (M/F) carpenters and cabinetmakers who are autonomous, rigorous and passionate.

Your main tasks

In the workshop

• Reading and interpreting technical plans and execution diagrams.

• Taking precise measurements, cutting, machining and assembling solid wood pieces as well as derived panels.

• Use of traditional machine tools (jointer, planer, spindle moulder, circular saw) and/or CNC machines.

• Custom manufacture of bespoke furniture, interior fittings, doors, windows and cabinetmaking elements.

On site (installation and fitting)

• Installation and adjustment of interior fittings (kitchens, wardrobes, cupboards, bookcases, partitions).

• Installation of exterior joinery (windows, front doors, closures).

• Installation of floor coverings (floating and glued parquet) and ceilings.

• Fitting work, sealing, hardware adjustment and careful finishing.

• Strict adherence to safety rules and maintaining site cleanliness.

Your profile

• Experience: Proven professional experience (minimum 2 to 3 years) in the workshop, on-site installation or versatile.

• Skills: Mastery of plan reading, precision in measurements and excellent machine tool management.

• Personal qualities: Autonomy, initiative, precision, reliability and team spirit.

• Driving licence: Driving licence (Cat. B) essential; own vehicle is a plus.

• Languages: Proficiency in French (spoken and written); some knowledge of German is an asset.
