YOUR TASKS
- Instrument handling and assisting during surgical procedures across a broad surgical spectrum (orthopaedics, traumatology, spinal, hand and plastic surgery, urology and gynaecology, visceral surgery (Da Vinci))
- Ensuring a smooth, high-quality and complication-free surgical process
- Proactive, reliable and committed collaboration in all procedures
- Participation in day operations as well as, depending on workload and function, in late and on-call duties
- Active involvement in shaping processes, quality and teamwork in the operating theatre team
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES WHEN TAKING ON SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITY ORTHOPAEDICS / TRAUMATOLOGY (80–100%)
- Professional responsibility for the orthopaedics / traumatology area
- Ensuring and further developing professional standards in the assigned area
- Contact person for specialist topics, materials, instruments and processes
- Close collaboration with doctors, operating theatre management and interdisciplinary interfaces
- Participation in training, induction and quality measures
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed training as Certified Specialist in Surgical Technology HF
- Several years of professional experience in the operating theatre is an advantage
- High quality and sense of responsibility
- Resilience, teamwork and flexibility
- Independent, structured and reliable working style
- Enjoyment of the profession and strong professional commitment
- Willingness to develop further and, if interested, to take on specialist responsibility
- Suitability and interest in a role as a vocational trainer is an advantage
