Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, a large public real estate organisation in the Zurich area, we are seeking an experienced leader to head acquisition. You will take overall responsibility for acquisition activities, develop a city-wide acquisition strategy, and lead a small acquisition team. In a growing organisation, you will actively shape the purchase of land and properties and report to political and administrative strategic decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
You bear overall responsibility for acquisition activities in coordination with political leadership and management
You develop and implement a city-wide acquisition strategy involving the relevant departments
You ensure compliance requirements internally and externally
You lead the acquisition team (2 employees) organisationally, professionally, and personally and further develop it
You plan, control, and implement property and land acquisitions in line with strategy and conduct acquisition negotiations
You prepare well-founded bases, proposals, and specialist documentation for political and administrative strategic decision-makers
You report to the responsible authorities, the department, and management
Qualifications:
You hold a university degree (Uni/ETH/MAS), e.g. in economics, law, business, architecture, or a comparable field
You have substantial further education in real estate management (e.g. CUREM, federally certified real estate trustee) and/or in real estate valuation (e.g. SVIT appraiser)
You have proven several years of professional experience in real estate acquisition or consulting
You have good networking and market knowledge in the Zurich real estate market
You bring personnel and entrepreneurial leadership experience as well as professional experience in large organisations
You are a assertive and strong negotiator, a convincing personality with pronounced communication skills
