What you can look forward to.
The Agile Release Train NOVA operates the central ticketing and control backend as well as the SwissPass ecosystem and continuously develops the platform with 14 teams according to DevOps principles. As a Technical Product Owner in the System Team, you are the interface between architecture, development and business, translating architectural requirements into actionable backlog items and ensuring stability, scalability and further development capability. If you have deep technical understanding in architecture, strong communication skills and enjoy coordinating technical strategy and delivery priorities, you can drive the sustainable, value-oriented further development of a critical mobility platform here. Benefits such as free GA, discounted travel abroad - also for the family - can be found on our website under Benefits.
What you can achieve.
- As a Technical Product Owner, you anchor the architecture vision and technical strategy together with the System Architect and make their benefits for the reliability and scalability of the platform visible.
- You convert architectural enablers and technical requirements into epics, features and actionable user stories and accept the results based on clear acceptance criteria and architectural standards.
- You are responsible for the quality, prioritisation and management of the backlog, defining and estimating entries transparently and checking their business value.
- In PI Planning, you prepare content and support implementation by clearly presenting architectural priorities, system-wide topics and identified dependencies.
- You proactively coordinate dependencies between Scrum teams and Agile Release Trains and support the teams in implementation, integration as well as continuous improvement of system quality and delivery flow.
- You ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security and reliability and present technical content appropriately for the audience in a business-relevant context.
What you bring with you.
- You approach complex technical and architectural issues analytically and structured and communicate them understandably and empathetically to different stakeholders.
- We expect several years of experience in architecture. If you also have experience as a Product Owner, System Architect, Business Analyst or System Analyst and have worked in an agile environment (such as SAFe), that is a plus.
- You have knowledge of CI/CD pipelines as well as cloud and infrastructure concepts.
- You have already gained experience in managing cross-team dependencies in complex system landscapes.
- Completed studies in computer science, engineering or business informatics or a comparable education.
- Very good German and English skills at least C1 as well as willingness to travel two to three times a year for one week each to the location of our shoring partner.
