Industrial Applications Developer & Java Integration (M/F)

Experis is looking for one of its clients, a recognised player in the industrial sector in Geneva, a Senior Java Application Developer (M/F) to strengthen a team responsible for critical applications that are highly integrated into the company’s information system.

You will work in a modern technical environment, within agile teams, on topics combining development, application integration, solution modernisation and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure corrective and evolutionary maintenance of strategic business applications mainly developed in Java.
• Design, develop and evolve reliable, high-performance and secure solutions.
• Participate in the integration of applications with the company’s various systems (CAD & CAM).
• Contribute to application deployments and the improvement of DevOps processes.
• Analyse business needs and support users in resolving incidents and change requests.
• Guarantee code quality through good development practices and automated testing.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the team’s methods, tools and processes.
• Collaborate with various technical teams on cross-functional projects.

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development in an industrial environment.
• Strong experience in Java development.
• Experience in complex and highly integrated application environments.
• Good knowledge of modern software architectures and best development practices.
• Mastery of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts.
• Experience with containerised environments and orchestration platforms is an asset.
• Strong awareness of software quality, maintainability and security issues.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or equivalent).
• Ability to work with different technologies and evolve in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Good team spirit, autonomy and excellent analytical skills.
