The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete the Surgery team at the Rennaz site, we are looking for a:
Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) M/F at 60%
The main duties of this position are
- Organise, perform, monitor and document care services and medico-technical acts delegated by the nurse and authorised by the ASSC status, in stable situations presenting no emergency character
- Collaborate in the smooth running of the service's activities
- Promote the interdisciplinary approach to care and the team work specific to the service's mission
- Promote, by delegation, the involvement of the patient in their care plan as well as that of their relatives
We require
- A Federal VET Diploma as a Community Health and Care Assistant
- A motivated person to care for seniors according to best practices in Geriatrics and Rehabilitation
- A rigorous, organised and dynamic person, with excellent communication skills
- An interest in working in an interdisciplinary team
- Adaptability to change and commitment to the service's project
- Proficiency in the French language and hospital-specific IT tools
