Indirect Purchasing Assistant

What you accomplish
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Purchasing department activities
- Assist teams in processing procurement transactions, updating prices, managing purchase requests and orders, delivery delays, as well as resolving billing discrepancies
- Ensure follow-up and regularisation of received orders pending invoicing
- Ensure the administrative closure of service orders in Purchasing systems (Ariba and others)
- Provide first-level support to internal users, suppliers and Finance teams
- Contribute to improving purchasing compliance by ensuring adherence to approved processes and tools
- Manage supplier master data, purchase orders and other relevant data in SAP and peripheral systems
- Actively support buyers in various areas if necessary (destruction, returns, settlements, Quality notifications, order confirmations, general procurement activities)
What you bring
- Education: Completed professional apprenticeship (CFC)
- Specialisation: Commercial employee or equivalent or higher diploma in business management, Supply Chain, Purchasing or similar field
- Professional experience: Experience in operational purchasing or in an administrative role related to the supply chain
- Experience using document management systems or digital tools enabling effective organisation and archiving of company documents
- Rigorous, structured working method with excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4 or similar ERP systems desired
- Additional training in business administration is an advantage
- Additional training in purchasing is an advantage
