Do you enjoy precision mechanics, conventional machines, and workshop work where every piece is unique?
Our client, a Swiss watchmaking manufacturer recognised for its expertise in designing and manufacturing high-precision components, is seeking a Micromechanic to strengthen its workshop.
You will join a passionate team where your expertise will directly contribute to the manufacture of tools and components essential to production.
Your mission
Within the mechanical workshop, you will produce precision mechanical parts as well as specific tools intended for various production departments.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Manufacture mechanical components and tools on conventional machines.
- Machine parts on 102 lathes, milling machines, planers, and slotters.
- Define manufacturing methods and develop operating sequences.
- Carry out dimensional checks and ensure the conformity of manufactured parts.
- Ensure routine maintenance and first-level upkeep of production equipment.
- Perform self-inspection using conventional measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges, Isoma, Marcel Aubert...).
- Collaborate with different workshops to meet manufacturing needs and improve tooling.
Your profile
You are passionate about precision mechanics and appreciate environments where autonomy, quality, and expertise are valued.
You notably bring:
- A Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a micromechanic or equivalent training.
- Solid experience with conventional machines.
- Excellent mastery of traditional machining techniques.
- Good understanding of industrial processes and precision manufacturing.
- Knowledge of stamping is an asset.
- Autonomy, rigour, and excellent organisational skills.
- A true team spirit and a strong quality orientation.
