Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist to lead demanding large-scale building construction projects. You will take charge of managing projects in the SIA phases 41-53 and are particularly responsible for the execution phase through to successful handover. You will coordinate planners, contractors and other project participants and ensure costs, deadlines, quality and contract objectives. The position offers a high level of responsibility in technically and organisationally demanding construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Management of demanding large-scale building construction projects in the SIA phases 41-53
Overall responsibility for execution planning, costs, deadlines and quality
Management and coordination of architects, specialist planners, contractors and suppliers
Leadership of the execution phase from preparation to completion and handover
Monitoring of construction progress, budget, cost forecasts and project controlling
Coordination of tenders, awards, contracts and amendments
Organisation and leadership of construction meetings, planner meetings and project discussions
Ensuring complete project and execution documentation
Review and coordination of execution plans, detailed planning and technical solutions
Support with acceptances, commissioning, defect rectification and warranty work
Qualifications:
Completed studies as architect FH/ETH, civil engineer FH/ETH or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of experience in project management of large-scale building construction projects
Sound knowledge of the SIA phases 41-53 and Swiss construction processes
Experience in cost management, scheduling, tendering and contract management
Good knowledge of construction administration and project management software
Very good German language skills spoken and written
