Horticulturist / Landscape Gardener at 100%

in the Urban Planning and Architecture Department, Green Spaces Sector

Your tasks

• Maintain, inspect and construct playgrounds and the urban golf course
• Carry out construction work (masonry, laying paving stones, walls, etc.)
• Perform various plantings, weeding, pruning of plants, etc.
• Participate in the maintenance and pruning of major trees
• Carry out pruning work, using a cherry picker and rope access
• Participate in the management of invasive plants and various tasks at the St-Léonard cemetery
• Maintain equipment and machinery
• Participate in on-call services (weekends, public holidays)

Your profile

• Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a landscape gardener, lumberjack or equivalent training
• At least 5 years’ experience in the maintenance of play equipment and minor masonry
• Training in "Tree Access and Advanced Module", playground inspection and/or rope work (IRATA) is an advantage
• Versatile, autonomous person with ease in adapting to various teams
• Good physical condition
• Category B driving licence with BE trailer entitlement
• Good command of French or German, ideally with knowledge of the partner language
