Junior Assistant 100% - Surgery

Exciting challenges await you

• Assessment and initial treatment of patients in the emergency department
• Support of visceral surgical, trauma surgical, orthopaedic, hand surgical, and urological patients in the operating theatre and assistance with surgical procedures
• Independently taking medical histories and conducting clinical examinations
• Establishing a differential diagnosis and suggesting possible further investigations
• Learning the basics of indication setting, procedure selection, principles of operative treatment, and operability
• Acquiring manual skills in wound care
• Participation in weekly training and continuing education events
• Assisting in operations

What distinguishes you for the job

• You are in the 5th or 6th year of your medical studies
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Clinical interest, willingness to learn, and readiness to participate in weekend shifts, which are compensated
