Supply Chain Specialist & Procurement (80-100%)

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Completed training as a logistician or comparable qualification as well as further education or studies in logistics / supply chain management
• 3 years of professional experience in logistics
• Business fluent German (C1), good English skills (B2) and French skills (B1) are an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems (preferably SAP), user knowledge in transport or warehouse management systems
• Willingness to travel about 10% for e.g. visits to logistics centres and a valid driving licence
• Sound knowledge in transport and logistics management as well as supply chain processes; strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for process optimisation
• Independent, structured and reliable working style as well as passion for logistics and its further development

About the Job

In this exciting position, you take responsibility for ensuring service quality and delivery capability to our customers in the assigned logistics area. You schedule replenishment transports, continuously analyse the performance of logistics service providers, conduct quality audits in the logistics centres, and proactively take measures to remedy deviations. You work closely with the sales teams and ensure the connection between our internal departments and external partners.

Furthermore, you take care of the procurement of marketing and advertising materials: from supplier selection through price negotiations to maintaining contracts and master data in the system. The organisation of trade fair logistics – from order placement to smooth return – is also within your area of responsibility.

Additionally, you participate in customs matters, support continuous process improvements, and thus contribute significantly to increasing efficiency. A varied task for organisational talents with foresight!
