As an IT System Engineer Infrastructure, you ensure the stable operation and continuous development of modern on-premise and cloud infrastructures. You manage servers, networks, clients, IT security as well as central IT services and actively contribute to the optimisation and further development of the IT landscape.
Responsibilities:
Operation, administration, and maintenance of server, network, and cloud infrastructures
Ensuring system availability, performance, and stability
Monitoring and fault analysis of systems and services
Management of backup and restore processes as well as implementation of IT security measures
Handling complex incidents in 2nd and 3rd level support
Administration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other directory services
Management of switches, firewalls, and WLAN infrastructures
Creation and maintenance of IT documentation as well as participation in IT projects
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in system engineering and IT infrastructure operations
Sound knowledge of Microsoft environments, networks, monitoring, backup, and IT security
Experience with servers, cloud, virtualisation, and modern infrastructure concepts
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Independent, responsible, and pragmatic personality
