Role:
In this role, you take over the operation, maintenance, and further development of a modern IT infrastructure with Microsoft server landscape, Active Directory, Azure VMs, and Microsoft 365. You manage and maintain the VMware platform, Exchange mail services (on-premise and online), as well as the backup environment with Veeam, ensuring system stability and security. You analyse and resolve faults, support first-level support, and lead sub-projects in which you also coordinate external service providers. Additionally, you document systems, processes, and changes carefully and ensure reliable operation through your participation in the on-call service and occasional travel within Europe. With your solid expertise in Microsoft technologies, PowerShell scripting, and your service-oriented, responsible working style, you actively shape a future-proof IT environment.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the operation, maintenance, and further development of the Microsoft server landscape, Active Directory, and Azure VMs
You manage and continuously optimise the VMware platform, Microsoft 365, Exchange (on-premise & online), and the backup environment (Veeam)
You independently analyse and resolve faults and support first-level support with complex issues
You independently lead sub-projects, coordinate external service providers, and document systems and changes thoroughly
You take on the on-call service (approx. once per quarter) and occasionally travel within Europe
Qualifications:
Completed IT training (e.g. IT specialist EFZ or IT specialist) with further training in the Microsoft environment (e.g. MCSA, MCSD, or MCSE)
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, and Veeam
Experience in PowerShell scripting as well as a structured and solution-oriented working style
Fluent written and spoken German
