Founded in Lausanne in 1843, the Asile des aveugles Foundation includes the Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital, a university ophthalmology service, a research centre, the Educational Centre for Visually Impaired Pupils (CPHV), social services, rehabilitation and low vision, and the Clair-Soleil medico-social establishment.
More than 670 collaborators mobilise every day in the service of visual health to offer diagnostic, treatment and support services to people with visual impairments.
To complete our team (24/7), we are looking for a
Pool Nurse
Your mission
- Care for and support patients and their relatives, including in paediatrics, outpatient and inpatient settings
- Contribute to and promote interprofessional work, integrated and individualised care
- Develop nursing care, ophthalmic care and contribute to the promotion of evidence-based practice
- Value clinical assessment, therapeutic education and develop the autonomous role
Your assets
- Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing or equivalent qualification (with Red Cross recognition)
- Professional experience in an acute care service, paediatrics an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Decision-making and analytical skills, good stress management
- Sense of observation and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of common IT tools
- Proficiency in French, German and Italian at B2 level, English an asset
