Together with your team, you will shape the procurement of planning and construction services to ensure that construction projects progress efficiently and travellers can move barrier-free. You will encounter a diverse project portfolio ranging from new builds and conversions to renovations of stations, tunnels, bridges, and entire railway sections. You will work closely with project managers, technical departments, legal, and other interfaces, taking on responsibility with tangible impact.

What you can achieve.

• You are responsible for project procurement construction of the Infrastructure Division in your region, both in terms of personnel and expertise.
• You advise your approximately eight project purchasers on procurement and contract matters according to public procurement law and agree on individual development measures.
• You manage regional procurement transactions according to commercial principles and authorise awards up to CHF 10 million.
• As a member of the Infrastructure Construction Procurement management team, you participate in regional and national committees and actively maintain contacts with internal and external stakeholders.
• In specialist groups, you contribute approaches for the continuous development of processes and methods.
• You are willing to travel within the region and regularly work in Olten, Lucerne, and Bellinzona.

What you bring with you.

• In this leadership position, strong leadership skills such as results-oriented and development-oriented leadership are of great importance.
• You quickly familiarise yourself with new and complex issues and act in a results-oriented and quality-conscious manner. You have already gained experience in managing escalations and critical project situations at management and leadership levels.
• Your strengths include entrepreneurial and cost-conscious thinking as well as strong communication and moderation skills.
• You bring experience in project procurement and/or the construction industry.
• You have a university of applied sciences degree (in engineering, business administration, or comparable) or hold a higher professional qualification (Swiss Federal Diploma in Purchasing Management or an equivalent qualification).
• You are fluent in German (C2). You speak French or Italian with very good knowledge (B2) of the other national languages.
