You develop modern, scalable data pipelines for batch and streaming applications using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
You model and transform data with dbt and implement robust data structures within a Bronze/Silver/Gold architecture.
You are responsible for developing Power BI solutions including semantic models, dashboards and reports, and prepare data appropriately for the target audience.
You accompany your data products throughout the entire lifecycle – from development through quality assurance and documentation to monitoring and operation.
You work closely with business stakeholders and actively shape the further development of the data platform through infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and code reviews.
Qualifications:
You have a degree in computer science, data science or a related field, or a comparable practical qualification.
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar position.
You have very good SQL skills and experience in building reliable data pipelines, ideally with dbt and modern transformation methods.
Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Power BI including DAX and semantic models, as well as Python, are part of your technical toolkit.
You have experience with modern data governance and architecture concepts such as Unity Catalog, Data Vault, Kimball and Medallion architecture, as well as Terraform and CI/CD. Fluent English and French skills are required; German is an advantage.
