Modern data centres need networks that operate with high availability, security and automation. We are looking for an experienced individual who masters Cisco ACI, designs complex data centre architectures and combines networking with automation.
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of complex data centre network architectures
Technical development of highly available network and security platforms
Engineering and operation of modern Cisco ACI environments
Responsibility for central load-balancing infrastructures
Development and implementation of network and security concepts
Integration of network, security and infrastructure components
Automation of recurring network processes with Ansible and Git
Building standardized and reproducible configurations according to infrastructure-as-code principles
Creation of technical architecture concepts and operational documentation
Support in complex incidents at the 3rd-level environment
Conducting root cause analyses and sustainable error correction
Participation in technological modernisation and transformation projects
Evaluation of new network and security technologies
Professional advice to internal stakeholders on demanding infrastructure issues
Participation in a planned on-call service
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science, network technology or comparable technical qualification
Several years of experience in engineering complex enterprise or service provider networks
Solid practical experience with Cisco ACI
Very good knowledge of data centre networking
Experience with load balancing and network security
Understanding of modern network architectures and segmentation concepts
Experience with Ansible and Git is an advantage
Interest in network automation and infrastructure as code
Analytical and conceptual thinking
Independent working style and enjoyment of complex technical challenges
Very good German skills and good English skills
