For an established Swiss company in the field of building technology, we are looking for a technically skilled individual as a Building Automation Technician with the prospect of becoming a Project Manager. The company implements sophisticated solutions for building automation and offers long-term development opportunities within a professional yet personal organisation.
This position is particularly suitable for someone who already has practical experience in building or industrial automation and wishes to develop towards project management in the medium term.
- Programming and configuration of automation systems for HVAC and room automation applications
- Technical execution of projects from planning to successful commissioning
- Parameterisation, testing and optimisation of the control and automation systems used
- Conducting commissioning and systematic fault finding on site
- Support in technical project management and coordination of individual task packages
- Customer support and advice on technical issues
- Close cooperation with project managers, fitters and other specialist departments
- Increasingly taking on independent responsibility within projects
- Gradual development towards project management with corresponding assumption of budget, schedule and customer responsibility
- Further training at HF level is an advantage or willingness to develop accordingly
- Practical experience in building automation, HVAC automation or industrial/process automation
- Experience with PLC programming such as KNX, BACnet, DALI, Desigo, etc.
- Enjoyment of commissioning, technical challenges and direct customer contact
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Resilient and team-oriented personality
- Teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Fluent German skills, additional languages are an advantage

- Completed technical basic training in electrical engineering, building technology or automation- Further training at HF level is an advantage or willingness to develop accordingly
