About the role
Attached to the Engineering & Mechanical department, you will work on the design of handling tools and transport structures dedicated to high-precision industrial equipment. You will ensure 3D modelling, the creation of execution plans, and the documentary follow-up of projects, taking into account integration constraints in a restricted environment.

Main tasks

• 3D CAD design: Model mechanical sub-assemblies, lifting tools, supporting structures and transport skids using CATIA.

• Drawing & Dimensioning: Produce 2D manufacturing and assembly drawings using CATIA and AutoCAD, rigorously applying functional and geometric dimensioning (ISO GPS).

• Interface management: Verify 3D integration, check clearance gauges and validate the absence of collisions with the existing environment.

• PDM/PLM management: Archive, structure product trees and manage the lifecycle of digital mock-ups in the database (SmartTeam).

• Technical follow-up: Liaise with methods and manufacturing workshops (internal or subcontractors) to monitor designed parts.

• Education: BAC+2 / BAC+3 in Mechanical Design (BTS CPI, BUT GMP or equivalent).

• CAD/CAM skills: Confirmed mastery of CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE and good practice of AutoCAD.

• Data management: Experience or knowledge of SmartTeam PDM is a significant asset.

• Technical know-how: Solid knowledge of material strength, manufacturing processes (machining, boilermaking/welding) and safety rules related to lifting.

• Skills: Methodical rigour, attention to detail and ability to work in a project team.
