Maintenance Technician

On behalf of one of our clients located in Morat specialising in the manufacture of parts for the automotive sector, we are looking for several:

Maintenance Technician

• Strictly respect and apply SUVA rules, lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO) and work standards during any intervention.
• Maintain cleanliness, order and 6S in maintenance areas and restore equipment after intervention.
• Carry out maintenance interventions on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, automated equipment and vision/control systems.
• Methodically diagnose faults, restore operation as quickly as possible and secure the return to production.
• Contribute to solving quality issues related to equipment and implement defined preventive and corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and conditional maintenance according to the defined plan, identify deviations and report any anomaly requiring action.
• Accurately complete intervention reports in DIMOmaint: symptoms, diagnosis, cause, actions taken, parts used and recommendations.
• Apply and respect machine instructions, standards, parameters and settings; propose improvements based on feedback.
• Ensure structured handover of instructions at the end of the shift: ongoing faults, risks, work to be continued and priorities.
• Maintain and develop your level of versatility according to the skills matrix and actively participate in technical training.
• Participate in series changes and machine adjustments to ensure a compliant, rapid and stable restart.
• Contribute to maintaining the pace and standard cycle time by identifying and addressing technical deviations impacting OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or certification in a relevant field (e.g. industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechatronics) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• A solid understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC) logic and controls is a significant advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Experience with various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and occasionally lift heavy objects.
• Weekend team? Working days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Day shift: 05:00 - 17:00 / 17:00 - 05:00).
• Weekday team? Working days: Monday to Friday (05:00 - 13:30 / 13:30 - 22:00).
