We are looking for our nursery KidsCare Mont-sur-Lausanne, on a permanent contract, with a start date of June 1, 2026, or to be agreed, a
Deputy Director (M/F) at 80-100%
Your mission:
As deputy director, you assist the nursery director in the pedagogical, administrative, and organizational management of the facility. You actively participate in welcoming and supporting children, managing the team, and liaising with families. You replace the director in case of absence and ensure the continuity of the institutional project.
More specifically you:
Work in complementarity with the nursery director to ensure the operational functioning and administrative management of the facility.
Provide quality services to the children welcomed and their parents in accordance with the Group's values and legal requirements.
Ensure the safety and psychological, emotional, and physical well-being of the child.
Supervise and support an educational team (manage schedules, absences, various follow-ups, recruitment, organize meetings ...).
Analyze and respond to the needs of children and families (visits, parent interviews, individualized reception, family support, occupancy plan management).
Ensure coordination of information between various stakeholders (cantonal authorities, general management, external partners).
Your profile:
Holder of a diploma as an ES or HES early childhood educator or social educator; you can demonstrate several years of professional experience.
Competence in administrative management
Very good command of common computer tools
Native French speaker with good knowledge of English (or vice versa)
Proven experience in team supervision in early childhood.
Strong pedagogical and organizational skills.
Collaborative leadership, good listening and communication skills.
Ability to assist and reliably support the management.
