Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Building Services HVAC for nationwide management of demanding heating and cooling projects. You will take overall responsibility from feasibility study and concept development through to offer and contract management, awarding, realisation, and handover. The focus is on technically and economically optimised heating, cooling, and energy supply systems as well as their sustainable operation throughout the entire lifecycle. In addition to technical project management, you will lead project teams, advise major clients, and be responsible for costs, deadlines, quality, and resources within a diverse project portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for demanding heating and cooling projects from project definition to successful realisation and handover
Development and assessment of technical concepts for heat generation, cooling generation, heat and cooling distribution, and hydraulic systems
Preparation of feasibility studies, variant analyses, and cost-effectiveness assessments for new, replacement, and optimisation projects
Management of a project portfolio regarding costs, deadlines, quality, resources, and economic efficiency
Leadership and technical coordination of project teams, specialist planners, contractors, and other technical specialists
Responsibility for offers, calculations, and contract management as well as support in acquiring new projects
Conducting tenders, offer comparisons, contractor negotiations, and awards
Advising clients on energy-efficient HVAC systems, sustainable operating concepts, and lifecycle optimisations
Coordination of interfaces with ventilation, sanitary, electrical, building automation, and other building services trades
Responsibility for structured project, cost, and quality controlling including ongoing forecasts and reporting
Technical support for execution, commissioning, acceptance, and handover as well as ensuring the required system performance
Participation in the development and standardisation of modern building, energy, and operational concepts for real estate portfolios used throughout Switzerland
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training in heating/cooling or building services engineering, ideally supplemented by further training as a certified technician HF building services engineering or building services engineer FH
Several years of professional experience in project management of heating and cooling projects
Sound expertise in heating, cooling, hydraulics, and energy supply systems
Experience in project controlling, calculation, tendering, awarding, and contract management
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss building services engineering standards
Experience in technical leadership and coordination of project teams and external service providers
Very good German language skills spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
