Role:
In this role, you accompany companies that want to use artificial intelligence and modern cloud collaboration platforms in everyday work, while consistently keeping information security in view. You analyse complex system landscapes, identify vulnerabilities early, and develop clear, actionable security measures before risks become a problem. You combine your expertise in Microsoft Security, Cloud Security, and Identity & Access Management with strategic consulting and pragmatic implementation. You structure requirements, create transparency in security matters, and translate uncertainty into concrete recommendations for action. In this way, you design security solutions that work in everyday life and create measurable added value for the organisation.
Responsibilities:
You analyse complex customer environments, identify security risks early, and derive prioritised, actionable roadmaps.
In this role, you develop holistic security architectures and concepts that sustainably meet governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
You design and moderate workshops, embed security knowledge in organisations, and enable customers to independently continue security topics.
In this role, you take responsibility in projects, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and successfully complete initiatives.
You support pre-sales in solution designs and ensure that ideas become robust, high-quality security solutions.
As a Microsoft Security Engineer / Consultant, you accompany the handover of solutions into operation and support, ensuring long-term stability.
Qualifications:
- You have several years of experience as a consultant, engineer, or architect and know the dynamics of customer projects first-hand.
- You apply security principles such as Zero Trust, Defence in Depth, and Risk Management not only theoretically but have successfully implemented them in projects.
- You have a clear professional focus, ideally in Microsoft Security (Defender, Entra, Purview, M365), Cloud Security (Azure), IAM, Endpoint or Network Security, and possess in-depth practical experience there.
- You are confident in advising on best practices, governance, and regulatory requirements and communicate these understandably and practically.
- You work in a structured and analytical manner, take responsibility, and drive tasks independently.
- You convince with strong communication and moderation skills, very good German skills, and good English skills.
