ICT Support Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF78,000 - 90,000Role:
In this role, you are the first point of contact for IT enquiries and competently support users with technical problems in their daily work. You analyse faults, find targeted solutions, and ensure that enquiries are efficiently recorded, prioritised, and processed. You are responsible for the professional support of end devices, standard software, and access rights, thereby contributing to a stable, secure IT operation. With your expertise, you optimise processes in user support, document recurring solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of service quality. Through your clear communication, you help users to confidently and productively use digital work tools.
Responsibilities:
- You take on 1st and 2nd level support for the municipality, school, and external offices.
- In this role, you operate and administer the ICT environment together with the external ICT service provider, including specialised applications and interfaces.
- You receive support requests, analyse faults, and assist employees with hardware, software, network, and communication problems, with a focus on schools.
- As an IT user support specialist, you advise employees on the efficient and appropriate use of ICT resources.
- You coordinate external service providers, suppliers, and partners, ensure system availability, and manage the inventory of hardware, software, and network components.
- In this role, you support ICT in organising and conducting training sessions and contribute your expertise to ICT projects.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ (platform development, system technology, or business informatics) or equivalent further education in ICT support
- Professional experience in 1st or 2nd level support with good knowledge of the Microsoft environment, ideally complemented by experience in school environments or public administration
- Ideally familiar with the Apple environment (especially iPadOS)
- Driving licence category B
- Strong service and user orientation, combined with willingness to learn, initiative, and quick comprehension
- Team-oriented, quality-conscious personality with very good communication skills, confident German, and spoken English skills
