The focus of this role is the further development of a modern clinical IT landscape. We are looking for a strong leadership personality who brings together application operations, digitalisation and clinical requirements and develops sustainable solutions together with their team.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for a versatile landscape of medical and clinical specialised applications including strategy, operations and lifecycle.
Leadership and further development of a multi-member application management team with a focus on collaboration, quality and service.
Translating professional requirements into technical concepts and prioritising further development together with the relevant stakeholders.
Designing digital clinical processes as well as optimising interfaces and cross-system workflows.
Managing releases, changes, tests and quality assurance as well as ensuring stable application operations.
Coordinating complex incidents, problem management and collaboration with internal specialists and external manufacturers.
Leading digital health and application projects including resource planning, controlling and supplier management.
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science, medical informatics or a comparable qualification.
Several years of leadership experience as well as practical experience in managing demanding IT projects.
Sound understanding of hospital organisations, clinical processes and the digitalisation of medical processes.
Experience with healthcare integration, for example HL7, DICOM, FHIR, APIs or comparable interoperability standards.
Knowledge of ITIL, service management, test management and structured operational processes.
Affinity for cyber security, data protection, identity management and regulatory requirements in healthcare.
Confident, solution-oriented leadership personality with high personal responsibility, pronounced stakeholder management and fluent German.
