Construction Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager Building Construction for the realisation of demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects in residential, administrative and commercial construction. You will accompany the projects from tendering and awarding through to execution, final accounting and warranty phase and take on a central coordination function. As the interface between client, architect, specialist planners, authorities and contractors, you ensure professional, timely and cost-compliant implementation. The position combines independent site management with technical detail understanding and comprehensive cost, schedule and quality management.
Responsibilities:
Independent site management of demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects in residential, administrative and commercial construction
Accompanying projects from execution planning and tendering through to acceptance, final accounting and warranty phase
Preparation and processing of tenders, specifications, offer comparisons and award proposals
Coordination of client, architect, specialist planners, specialists, authorities and executing companies
Organisation and leadership of construction meetings as well as preparation of minutes, action lists and decision bases
Responsibility for scheduling, cost control and quality assurance throughout the entire execution phase
Review of contractor offers, measurements, invoices and claims as well as ongoing monitoring of project costs
Ensuring professional execution taking into account relevant SIA standards, contracts and building regulations
Coordination of technical interfaces and execution details between architecture, specialist planning and contractors
Conducting acceptances, defect management and handovers as well as monitoring timely defect rectification
Preparation of the final account and accompanying projects during the warranty and guarantee phase
Qualifications:
Completed training as draftsman EFZ specialising in architecture with further training in construction management, certified technician HF construction planning, construction manager HFP or architect FH
Professional experience in construction management and realisation of building construction projects, ideally in residential, administrative or commercial construction
Sound knowledge of tendering, awarding, measurement, cost control and final accounting
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards, contract basics and Swiss construction processes
Confident handling of common construction administration and Microsoft 365 applications
Solid technical understanding of construction, execution details and trade interfaces
Very good German language skills spoken and written
