About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for around 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
Do emergency situations and complex patient cases make your heart beat faster? For our interdisciplinary intensive care unit, where we value team spirit, openness, and a flat hierarchy, we are looking for a committed educational officer with a workload of 80-100%.

What Awaits You
- You manage and coordinate the entire postgraduate study programme in Intensive Care NDS HF from introduction to successful completion
- You continuously develop the operational training concept and adapt it to the latest standards and the framework curriculum
- You are an active member of the Shared Leadership Team and work closely with the trainers and the NDS education provider
- You support the students and trainers in the learning process and ensure the theory-practice transfer
- You independently plan, organise, and conduct the theoretical study days for the students and the team and act as the central contact point for all educational matters
What You Bring to Us
- You hold a completed diploma as a Certified Expert in Intensive Care NDS HF and have several years of solid professional experience in intensive care as well as broad clinical expertise
- You possess pedagogical training (SVEB certificate or CAS) in adult education or are willing to complete it
- You are characterised by high communication skills, organisational talent, resilience in extraordinary situations, and enjoyment in supporting colleagues
- You work at least 20% directly in nursing practice to ensure practical relevance (no night shifts, max. 1 weekend)
