Specialist in Wound Care Consultation 60-80%
from December or by arrangement
Who are we?
As a wound care consultation team, we conduct outpatient and inpatient wound consultations and support patients with complex wound situations. In doing so, we work closely with various specialist departments and interprofessional professional groups.
We advise, coach, and support nursing professionals and treatment teams in professional wound care. At the same time, we advise and empower patients in managing their wounds, thereby promoting as independent care as possible. With regular training and further education, we also contribute to passing on current knowledge and professional competencies in wound management.
With great commitment, we also dedicate ourselves to professional and practical development. In addition to our clinical work, we take on conceptual tasks and actively shape the further development of wound management at USZ – for example, in developing guiding recommendations, advancing standards, or within the framework of certifications.

If you bring the following, you are in the right place with us:
- A completed education as a certified nursing professional FH with at least two years of professional experience
- A qualification in wound management, for example as a Certified Wound Expert SAfW, or the willingness to complete a corresponding further education promptly
- Practical experience in the care and treatment of wounds
- Enjoyment in passing on your expertise and advising and empowering nursing professionals as well as patients
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style as well as pronounced organisational and communication skills
- Enjoyment in interprofessional collaboration and actively shaping developments
