Your Tasks

• You support patients in finding a way out of illness towards more quality of life and self-determination
• You take responsibility in day, night and emergency services
• You make an important contribution to psychiatric primary care in the canton of Bern
• You work in the Clinic for Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry and support people aged 65 and over and cognitively impaired individuals with psychological challenges
• Under senior medical supervision, you take on diagnostic tasks and therapeutic case management
• You work closely with your interprofessional team and communicate with relatives as well as other healthcare providers
• You gain in-depth knowledge of treatment and the entire spectrum of mental disorders

Your Profile

• You have a medical degree recognised in Switzerland
• You are an open, motivated and committed personality with social skills, empathy and powers of observation
• You value interprofessional collaboration and gladly take on responsibility
• You have good oral and written German skills (at least level C1)
• Ideally, you have prior experience in the somatic field
• You actively contribute yourself and your knowledge to the interprofessional team, consisting of the medical service, psychology, social service and nursing, and broaden your own horizons
