For our client, an internationally active company in mechanical and plant engineering, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a technically skilled individual. The company develops highly precise solutions for demanding industrial applications and supports customers from various industries worldwide. To strengthen the service department, a travel-ready specialist is sought who wishes to apply their technical know-how both nationally and internationally.
Service Technician CNC Grinding (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Carrying out maintenance, servicing and repair work on CNC grinding machines
- Responsibility for commissioning machines at the customer’s site
- Analysing and resolving faults as well as ensuring rapid restoration of operational readiness
- Conducting fault diagnostics on mechanical, electrical and control technology components
- Training and instructing customers in the operation of the systems
- Supporting technical queries and service assignments in the field
- Conducting grinding trials after appropriate familiarisation
- Advising customers regarding spare parts, overhauls and optimisation possibilities
- Documenting service assignments and reporting on completed work
Your Profile
- Completed technical vocational training as a polymechanic, mechatronics technician, automation technician or comparable
- Good knowledge of CNC controls, preferably Fanuc, Siemens or Heidenhain
- Experience in technical service, mechanical engineering or maintenance is an advantage
- Knowledge in cylindrical grinding is an advantage but not a requirement
- High willingness to travel of 80 to 100 percent with assignments at home and abroad
- Independent, solution-oriented and customer-focused working style
- High sense of responsibility as well as strong communication skills
- Good English skills, spoken and written
- Willingness for continuous professional development
