Attached to the Directorate of Security, Justice and Sport, the Fribourg Cantonal Police has the general mission of ensuring public safety, maintaining order and enforcing laws.
It serves the population and the authorities. This is reflected 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in the performance of a large number of varied and demanding tasks: emergency interventions, offence reports, crime prevention, investigations, etc. The increasingly important role of the police in managing social problems requires tact and expertise from officers.
It is also responsible for road traffic safety. It provides security support to organisers of public events and assists cantonal and municipal authorities during serious incidents.
The Fribourg Cantonal Police is composed of two main bodies, the gendarmerie and the security police, and three divisions: command, logistics and IT, human resources and training.

- Trace cryptocurrency flows (multi-chain) and manage seizures (hardware wallets / software wallets)
- Collaborate on police investigations and write reports for the Criminal Prosecution Authorities
- Work with virtual asset service providers (VASPs)
- Analyse account extracts and technical data (KYC, IP, devices, logs)
- Support, within criminal investigations, various units of the cantonal police as well as the judiciary in the field of cybercrime, particularly in cryptocurrency analysis
- Collaborate and maintain contacts with all partners in the criminal justice chain at national and international levels
- Participate in working groups in the specific field
- Prepare and deliver training modules
- Provide an on-call service
- University or University of Applied Sciences degree in digital investigation or cybercrime, or equivalent training and experience
- Having completed a CAS or MAS training in the field or being willing to engage in such a course is an advantage
- Demonstrate autonomy, systematic approach, perseverance and team spirit
- Sense of responsibility
- Driving licence, category B
- Fluency in French or German with good knowledge of the partner language and English
