Sitting Guard on an Hourly Wage

We are looking for a sitting guard on an on-call hourly wage basis for our patient as soon as possible for the locations Kantonsspital Schaffhausen and Psychiatriezentrum Breitenau.

What to expect

• The safety of patients with a tendency to be at risk is your responsibility
• Your attentiveness prevents the risk of falls and injuries
• You assist in the care of patients in close cooperation with the nursing staff and report to the responsible nurse
• Minimum availability of 4 shifts per month

What you bring to us

• Residence in Switzerland or already existing Swiss work permit (due to the pool employment on call, unfortunately no cross-border commuter permits can be applied for this position)
• An SRK nursing course or a three-month nursing internship in an acute hospital
• You are a medical student or an employee (HF/FaGe) who already has experience as a sitting guard
• A high sense of responsibility as well as very good German language skills
• Flexibility, especially for short-term assignments during the week and on weekends/public holidays
• You enjoy working in shifts, are resilient, helpful and conscientious
