IT Support Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you take on professional IT support for users and ensure that their systems function reliably. You analyse and resolve faults independently, assist with hardware and software issues, and support users in their daily use of IT equipment. You are responsible for receiving, prioritising, and processing support tickets and document your work in a structured manner. Additionally, you contribute to the further development of support processes and bring in your experience to make workflows more efficient and user-friendly. Through your service-oriented, precise working style, you help ensure that the IT environment remains stable, secure, and high-performing.
Responsibilities:
- You record, process, and resolve IT problems and take on their triage
- You are responsible for change and lifecycle management of client devices
- You procure, inventory, and charge client devices and support IT projects
- In this role, you manage hardware and software for thin clients, laptops, and mobile devices
- You manage user rights and support specific specialised applications
- As an IT support specialist, you contribute to system engineering and project implementations including site support and video conferencing
Qualifications:
- You have solid experience with Citrix, VMWare, Veeam, and Microsoft technologies.
- You are familiar with hardware components and deploy them securely in operation.
- You have already taken responsibility for system support in a global environment.
- You bring practical experience in helpdesk and support work.
- You are familiar with multimedia systems and applications.
- You communicate confidently in German and English, both orally and in writing.
