Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
You don’t just want to post invoices but actively shape financial processes and further develop digital tools? In this specialist position, you take responsibility for the accounts payable of an internationally active technology company. At the same time, you support the financial accounting as a skilled contact person for workflows, expense processes and system-side optimisations.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the complete accounts payable process for external suppliers and intercompany entities
You prepare VAT returns and check the relevant business transactions for compliance
You process expense claims and ensure a correct and efficient process
You take on the super-user role for the accounts payable workflow and the expense tool used
You maintain accounts payable master data and monitor various clearing accounts
You contribute to the optimisation and digitalisation of existing financial processes
You represent accounts receivable and support the team with other tasks within financial accounting
Qualifications:
You have a commercial basic education and further training in finance and accounting, for example as an accounting clerk or with a federal diploma
You bring at least five years of professional experience in accounts payable, preferably from an internationally active SME
You are proficient in ERP systems, MS Office and digital workflow tools; knowledge of IFS, JobRouter or Perk is an advantage
You work in a structured, numbers-oriented and process-focused manner and convince with an open and communicative personality
You communicate very well in German and have good oral and written English skills
