As a Project Manager Construction / Structural Engineering, you will handle and lead demanding construction projects in the context of sewage treatment plants, water supplies, urban drainage as well as independent construction projects. You will contribute your solid construction-specific expertise to interdisciplinary planning teams and accompany projects from planning through tendering to execution and specialist site management.
Responsibilities:
Management and handling of construction projects of various sizes
Contributing expertise in interdisciplinary planning teams
Accompanying projects through all phases of planning, tendering, execution and specialist site management
Performing structural calculations and technical verifications
Preparing tenders, cost estimates and quotations
Leading cross-departmental and branch-wide project teams
Responsibility for planning coordination, communication and project controlling
Supporting and coordinating clients, planners and contractors
Participating in the acquisition of new projects
Opportunity to take on a leadership role in structural engineering and/or the construction business area
Qualifications:
Completed degree as BSc/MSc Civil Engineering
Solid and broad expertise in construction with a focus on structural engineering
Several years of professional experience in construction projects and structural engineering, including experience in project management
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
Strong communication and coordination skills
Team-oriented personality with high initiative and reliability
Enjoyment of direct contact with clients, planners, contractors and interdisciplinary project teams
Experience with specialised software such as AxisVM, CUBUS, Messerli or comparable applications is an advantage
