Embedded Software Architect (a)

About the job

• Responsibility for the architecture and strategic development of our embedded software platform
• Evaluation of new technologies and definition of future-proof technology standards
• Ensuring high software quality through architecture governance, development guidelines, as well as modern testing and automation concepts
• Coordination of architectural requirements with customers, management and development teams
• Documentation and communication of technical decisions within the organisation
• Professional development and coaching of distributed development teams across multiple locations

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in embedded software development and design of complex software architectures
• Sound knowledge of modern software engineering methods, ideally in the environment of Zephyr RTOS
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high quality awareness
• Convincing communication, moderation skills and enjoyment in leading distributed development teams professionally
• Very good German and English skills
