Operational/Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Independent procurement of materials from inquiry to invoice verification based on requirements from the ERP system
• Ensuring timely and cost-effective material availability for production and operations
• Monitoring and tracking orders as well as handling delivery deviations, complaints and 8D reports
• Obtaining and evaluating offers as well as conducting price, terms and contract negotiations
• Supporting, evaluating and further developing existing suppliers as well as establishing new national and international partnerships
• Maintaining and updating ERP, supplier and article data
• Contributing to the optimisation of purchasing processes, supplier evaluations as well as lean and continuous improvement projects
• Close cooperation with production, production planning and other internal interfaces

Your Profile

• Completed commercial or technical basic training as well as further training as a purchasing specialist with a federal certificate
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing and in a comparable position
• Sound knowledge in the use of ERP systems and confident handling of MS Office
• Experience in negotiating with suppliers as well as in drafting contracts, ideally in the machinery, plant or production environment
• Analytical thinking with strategic affinity
• Very good German and good English skills
