Automation Technician (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Further development and optimisation of automated process workflows in control systems
Systematic investigation of technical faults and implementation of sustainable solutions for troubleshooting
Planning, coordination, and realisation of projects in the field of process automation
Design and implementation of innovative automation solutions to modernise existing plants
Ensuring safe, efficient, and trouble-free plant operation
Review and continuous improvement of system performance and plant availability
Qualifications:
Completed technical training in electrical engineering, automation, or measurement, control and regulation technology (MSR), ideally supplemented by further education at HF or FH level
Practical experience with automation and control systems such as Step 7, TIA Portal, WinCC, ABB or Siemens PCS 7
Sound knowledge in drive, measurement and control technology as well as in the operation of process engineering plants
Good IT skills, preferably in the areas of network technology, system interfaces, and OPC communication
Analytical thinking as well as an independent, systematic, and solution-oriented working style
Very good German language skills
